Over the weekend I watched a video by one of my absolute faves… here’s the link https://youtu.be/uLdyx2v91VI . Stephanie Lange is a makeup artist, with a spunky and bright personality!

Immediately after watching her video, I felt inspired. See, she’s also done Instagram posts, and videos, without makeup on, and has a great message about it. I was totally makeup free that day, hair up in a messy bun, wearing my comfies. That’s my usual “at home” uniform. I don’t like to go out like that. But why?

For the majority of my life, I was verbally abused, insulted, torn down. It took quite a few experiences in my 30s and now 40s to make me challenge those negative beliefs about myself that had been so deeply engrained.

Finally I feel like I have woken up from a long sleep. I see the world differently, I see myself differently. I accept and embrace the so-called flaws, I diligently work to change what I want to, and the rest, hey, take it or leave it because it’s all part of me. Imagine how free that feels!

We ALL deserve to feel free, to be not only comfortable – but HAPPY – in our own skin, our own body, our own life!

The negative things that others, and especially you, may have constantly said to you over the years… are they REALLY true? Step back for a second and look. What if those are the things that make you unique? What if there is a purpose for that trait you can’t seem to stop or run from?

For example… I tried my hardest to get rid of my “mushball-ness” (sensitivity, overly affectionate, loving). Now, it’s the biggest and best asset of mine. Being a mushball helps me to help other people, through personal relationships, blogging, vlogging, and soon, coaching. Once you accept you, every part of you, and love yourself for who you were created to be, life gets smoother. Going against your true self CAN be done, but it’s like blasting thru the rocks and mud and muck in a 4×4 with a flat tire, in the rain. Not so good, right? Being your true self is like cruising the boulevard in your custom car… smooth and niiiice on a warm summer evening.

Back to Stephanie Lange. She inspired me to record my own video. Here it is:

It takes courage to be yourself. But the sooner you can do it, the freer you will feel and be!

Sending you love, light, and beautiful abundant blessings!
