It’s not selfish to promote yourself – your hobbies, crafts, business. Enjoying what you do and sharing it with the world is an act of gratitude. Gratitude for your talents, gifts, and uniqueness.

Sure there are others who do something similar to what you’re doing. But there is only ONE you. What you bring to life is unique to you and something for the world to see.

Not everyone likes it? Good? That’s one of the reasons WHY there are so many people doing similar things. So what doesn’t appeal to one person will appeal to someone else.

For example. I’m introverted, with OCD (haha). I’m also a mushball & a self-proclaimed “hippie granola girl”. Not everyone identifies with that. Some people like a coach with more of a heavy feel, or a drill sergeant feel. I know I needed that at a very tough time in my life. It was crucial.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m also very strict and can be blunt & straightforward with my advice. So I’m an interesting bag of goodies. Heehee

The thing is, there is something out there for everyone. If you have a passion or calling, please follow it. It wouldn’t be within you if it wasn’t meant for you. Are you an amazing baker? BAKE! Share it with others. Heck, sign up for bake sales, farmers markets, etc. Are you a fantastic crafter? Scrapbooker? Create! Share your talent with others. People will pay for such services! More than that, people will ENJOY them. So what if there are others doing those things. They don’t do it quite like YOU. That’s what makes it so special. The people that vibe with you will adore it all. The people that don’t, well, they will vibe with someone else doing similar with their own unique style.

There is room and abundance available to us all. The only thing that stops us is our own belief in keeping small.
